While Blake first entered the field of real estate in 2006, we became Silver City's only mother and daughter real estate team in 2007. We both work as REALTORS® and Associate Brokers at Hacienda Realty, GMAC in Silver City , New Mexico. We are partners, and often both of us work with the same customers, helping in our individual areas of expertise or assisting when the other is not immediately available. Our customers really seem to appreciate not having to wait for a call back or an answer to a question when one of us is unavailable, but the other can quickly respond. While we worked in other fields very successfully prior to entering real estate, the idea of working for ourselves directly with people, instead of managing or working at a computer, was very attractive to us both.

We have always been extremely close and have enjoyed doing many things together. One of our primary interests has always been houses, whether we were driving around looking for houses to buy, designing a remodeling project or decorating, we and our husbands are "nest builders," always looking for the next house or a new remodeling or decorating project. While our tastes are very different (Blake loves retro and contemporary designs and Donna mostly goes for colorful Mexican contemporary decorating), we love planning things together and sharing ideas.

When Blake started real estate, Donna spent a lot of time driving around with her and looking at houses on the market. A few months after Blake became a REALTOR®, Donna started moving in that direction too.

We really enjoy our work, meeting new and amazing people, and problem solving together. We were already close, but now we get to interact in new ways. We can also share our combined expertise with our customers and we think they benefit from getting attention from both of us.
